Capital One Venture X vs. Venture X Business: Which Card Is Right for You?
Over the past few years, the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card has become one of the most popular premium credit cards on the market. In 2023, Capital One also rolled out the Capital One Venture X Business. At first glance, the two cards look almost identical: same annual fee, similar earning structure, and overlapping perks. Let’s dive a little deeper at the differences to see which one is a the best fit for you!

The biggest difference between the Venture X and Venture X business:
The biggest difference between the personal and business Venture X is the welcome offer and minimum spends!
The standard offer on the Venture X is 75,000 bonus miles when you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
The standard offer on the Venture X business is 150,000 bonus miles when you spend $30,000 in the first 3 months from account opening.
My Take:
If you can meet the minimum spend and if you qualify for a business card, the Venture X Business would be my pick because the welcome offer is so much higher! After you meet the minimum spend, you'll have 210,000 miles! (150k welcome offer + 60k points from 2x on every purchase when you meet the $30k minimum spend!). If not, you can’t go wrong with the Venture X!
You can hold both cards at the same time, however, you need to space out your Capital One credit card applications at least 6 months apart!
The Venture X is a keeper card for me because the benefits more than offset the annual fee!
