One of the most popular ways to use credit card points for Disney tickets is to cover your ticket purchase with Capital One Venture Miles. Miles earned from the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card can be redeemed toward travel purchases made with the card.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to cover your travel purchase with Venture Miles, the purchases must code as “travel.” Tickets purchased from Disney’s website do NOT code as travel. However, you can purchase Disney tickets through a trusted third party website like Undercover Tourist or Getaway Today that DO code as travel.

Purchasing Disney Park Tickets With Chase Travel℠

Chase sometimes offers Disney tickets through Chase Travel℠. When it’s available, you can redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards® for Disney tickets at 1.25 cents per point if you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (meaning 100,000 points would equal $1,250 worth of tickets) or for 1.5 cents per point if you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (meaning 100,000 points would equal $1,500 worth of tickets). You can also use your $300 annual travel credit from your Chase Sapphire Reserve toward Disney tickets as long as it codes as a travel. (Remember, purchasing tickets directly through Disney does not code as travel, but purchasing through a trusted third party like Undercover Tourist or Getaway Today does!)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Sometimes the pricing for tickets through Chase Travel is higher than purchasing directly through Disney or a trusted third party site so be sure to do the math and make sure it makes sense for you to use your Chase points for Disney tickets.

Cash Back Credit Cards & Bank Bonuses

Another way to offset the cost of Disney tickets is through cash back credit cards & bank bonuses. One of the best cash back credit cards is the Chase Ink Business Premier® Credit Card. To earn a bank bonus, you usually need to meet certain requirements like making a minimum deposit, completing a certain amount of deposits and maintaining your account balance for a certain period of time. Bank bonuses are usually given in the form of a cash deposit, and can range from around $100 to $1,000 (these vary greatly!). Nearly free Disney tickets are totally possible with a little strategic planning! There is NO OTHER WAY that I know of that will save you as much money on Disney tickets as you can with credit card points!
